This is the amount we have arranged for this client to date. In the main Senior Debt with an element of Mezzanine finance. From more local beginnings this client group have established a UK niche market in the development of city centre hotels topped by residential apartments above. Some of the developments also contain offices and leisure. The key to their success is pre-letting the hotels to international operators and pre-selling some of the residential units. CLP have arranged high loan to value gearing including an inexpensive mezzanine layer. This structure is being replicated by this client throughout the UK. By working exclusively with CLP over a number of years this client could take advantage of both our intimate knowledge of his own funding requirements and our long-standing relationships with selected bank contacts. |
