15 million Euros – mezzanine loan

The clients were purchasing a well-let investment property in Western Germany.  They required to minimise their equity contribution.  There was already in place well structured senior debt. CLP arranged a mezzanine loan which, as part of the coupon, took a minority equity participation.   The client’s equity exposure (including purchasing costs of 9%) was limited to circa 12.5%.
