1.15 billion Euros drawndown for residential acquisitions in Germany

This European-based group over the last 2 years has acquired substantial residential investment portfolios throughout Germany.

They identified a market where the yields are substantially better than the UK market and with a low cost of funds, one could afford to retain the properties until there is a yield shift.

The client wished to have a fund allocated for the purchases to support credibility with vendors and to be able to react quickly.

In fact we initially arranged funding for a test acquisition of some 19 million Euros.  Problems which inevitably occur during the legal and valuation process were resolved.  Further loans so far totalling some 1.15 billion Euros have completed.
